Groves School was built on land given to the Trustees of the Com School District No. 73 by E. G. Strum and S. H. Groves. This transaction is found in Webster County Deed Book 13 p. 149. The school was located on what is now Dab Brown Road on property now owned by Terry Forbes. Many of the teachers at Groves School boarded with the Trice family and kept in touch after leaving. I have identified the people I know in these pictures. If anyone recognizes others please let me know.
